How to get to Guimarães

Guimarães is well served by the current network of motorways. It is possible to arrive from Porto to Guimarães in approximately 40 min. (A7 and A3), Braga in 15 min. (A11), to Lisbon in 180 min. (A3, A7 and A1) and Vigo in 90 min. (A7 and A3). Road access is excellent, allowing you to quickly reach various points of tourist interest.

You can reach Guimarães from the Francisco Sá Carneiro airport, located just 45 minutes away, via direct transfer or car rental.
