Submission Guidelines

Submissions can be either paper or panel submissions.

Maximum 400 words (excluding references)

Font: Times New Roman 12-pt, double spaced, 2.5 cm margins.

​

Paper abstract submissions should include (as appropriate to the type of proposal):

1. Research objectives/questions

2. Conceptual framework

3. Methodology

4. Contribution of the paper to conference themes.

Panel abstract submissions should include:​

1. The panel purpose and its relationship to the selected conference stream;

2. details of (minimum) three and (maximum) four papers and paper presenters to be included in the panel;

3. the expected contribution to the panel.

For panel submission, please ensure you advise the conference stream.

Process and deadlines for submissions
All paper abstracts and panel proposals must be submitted to isirc2023@dps.uminho.pt

Abstract and panel proposals submission due: March, 17th, 2023 (new date)

Notification of decision on submissions: March 31st, 2023

Optional full paper submission for consideration in best paper awards: June 30th, 2023

 

Guidelines for full paper submissions

Papers must be written in English and should be sent in Microsoft Word or PDF format.

A template can be found here.

 

Papers should be between 5,000 and 8,000 words in length including tables, figures and references. Tables and figures should be incorporated into the paper. Each table and figure should be given a title. Please include an abstract and four to six key words.

How to Submit Abstract
Please submit your abstract to isirc2023@dps.uminho.pt and include at the subject of the email the following information:

ISIRC 2023 Conference: Stream ___ (Please add in the stream number you are submitting to)
